Henny Burnettâs work has a continuing preoccupation with museums, collecting, fragility and transience. Her installation âThe Shoemakerâs Shrineâ is a response to Northamptonshireâs shoe industry. Wax casts of shoes and lasts have pressed flowers entrapped within the wax, which refer to the Victorian âsecret language of flowersâ.
