Henny Burnett

Henny Burnett’s work has a continuing preoccupation with museums, collecting, fragility and transience. Her installation “The Shoemaker’s Shrine” is a response to Northamptonshire’s shoe industry. Wax casts of shoes and lasts have pressed flowers entrapped within the wax, which refer to the Victorian “secret language of flowers”.
