Welcome to Salisbury Art Trail:  planned for October 2015

Ceramics • drawing • glass • installation art • jewellery • painting • photography • printmaking • sculpture • textiles • and more!

View artist’s work in studios, galleries and even artists’ homes. Discover how it is made and perhaps have a go yourself at a drop-in workshop. See the pARTicipate section of the brochure for details of how to join workshops (some may require you to book a place).

Next year’s Art Trail in 2015 is promising to be even more creative and vibrant than ever, with a greater variety of work to discover. We plan to have many artists and venues new to the Trail as well as those who have participated in previous Trails, and after a great success in 2013 we hope to include literary events with Salisbury Fringe.

From intricate jewellery to big, bold sculptures; traditional painted landscapes, bright contemporary printmaking, even ‘body art’, there is ample opportunity to wander and browse, and snap up an original artwork or two for gifts, for Christmas, or as a treat for yourself!

Look out for other Art Trail projects:

Paint Off is our ever-popular Community Art event and this year we hope it will be bigger than ever and hosted by Salisbury Cathedral in the Cloisters between 5-7th September as part of the brand new Contemporary Craft & Heritage Fayre. What a great chance to let your hair down and join the fun – book your place for just £10 (adults) £8 (Plain Arts members), £5 (under 16s) through [e-mail address cloaked] or 07961 689159. Come and have a go!

The Salisbury Art Trail 2015 brochure will be available next year at Salisbury Arts Centre, Salisbury Library, Tourist Information Centre, Salisbury Cathedral and Fisherton Mill, and during the Trail will be available at participating venues.

In the meantime You can download the 2013 Salisbury Art Trail Brochure here to see just how exciting an event this is.
