Mel Cane - Watercolour and Textile Art

My name is Mel Cane and I have been painting and drawing for more than 50 years. I work mainly in watercolours, but also use inks, acrylics, textiles and encaustics. Having founded and run Allington Artists for 25 years, I now paint with Mary Gilson as Phoenix Artists. We exhibit once or twice a year as well as taking part in Salisbury Art Trail. Although my main passions are art and dance (I am a line dance teacher), I love textile crafts and organise and exhibit at craft fayres.
