Jane Staniland - Ceramics

I make stoneware ceramic planters and vases from small to larger garden vessels. These are painted and remodelled to become beautiful one off pieces. I am inspired by ancient pottery, folk art, nature, faces and the human form. Drawing and painting is at the route of my work and the pleasure of slowly coiling and pinching elegant pots.
