lindawcselfp webStuart Inman - Painting And Photography

For many year I have been involved in the surrealist movement as an activist, artist and poet as well as a researcher. I stopped painting for many years, but started again in 2020 when I moved to Wiltshire. I paint in oils and, quite often, oil over acrylic and draw in several mediums from charcoal to silverpoint.
I work on several themes, for instance Memory, "Imperfect Alchemy" and with an emphasis on the hidden aspects of landscape. My photography is most concerned with the double image and pareidolia, the creative urge to reinterpret various phenomena, what is sometimes called 'Leonardo's Wall'. In my photography I use both film and digital cameras.
